Way too many awesome things happened and the day isn't even halfway over yet! Everyone knows how excited I am about the release of Dot Kareshi III. I think today was the release~ If so, then it's on its way over! I can't wait to finally see the Villager's route and why the heck he's so ominous/creepy! He has to be a Yandere type. HAS TO.

I'm not a mean or sarcastic kind of person, but when something bothers me I have to voice my opinion. Normally, I'd keep it to myself or protest indirectly. An author on AO3 asked for some honest opinions about their story and when I voiced mine, they flew off the handle. I feel better now that I've actually confronted him/her/it about the offensive content in their story.

I didn't do anything wrong. They asked for opinions and I gave them mine. They never said what kind of opinions they were looking for. "Don't be shy" was what they said. If you don't want people being honest, then say so! (╬ Ò ‸ Ó)

Tomorrow is the official release date for the third and final installment of the Dot Kareshi series! I can't begin to tell you how stoked I am~ Does anyone have a paper bag I can breathe into so I don't hyperventilate? ヽ(´∇´)ノ　(∇´ノ)　ヽ(　　　)ノ　(ヽ´∇) ヽ(´∇`)ﾉ

I also watched a spiffy, super-stylish movie a friend brought over today. Bunraku isn't the greatest movie I've ever seen, but it's definitely in a league of its own. I've never quite seen anything like it. The visual effects worked well and DAT MUSICAL SCORE. I love jazz, so this made my day.

Especially when my mom starts before Thanksgiving. I know we've got a large family and all but it still seems a tad ridiculous...I even brought my 3DS along and still got bored. Pfft, I sound like some spoiled preteen brat. XD

So, we were in Bed, Bath and Beyond when my mom suddenly shrieks. I look up from my game and she shoves this bottle of lotion in my face, chirping, "Look, hon! It's Japanese! Don't you love that Asian stuff? Want me to get it for you?"

Dear Mom, I am interested in Asian culture but that doesn't mean I'll buy and/or collect anything with an Asian country tacked on the label. The lotion didn't even smell that great; reminds me of my great aunt. *gag*

This post's alternate title could be, "Silly Stunts Pulled By Fan Fiction Authors That They Actually Believe Readers Won't Take Notice Of."

This is just a way of getting things off my chest because it bothers me. I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does. And when you try to point it out to someone they fly off the handle and attack you. ヽ(ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ

Sigh. Where to begin? Yaoi and Yuri have no place in a reverse harem anime/game? I don't get where people come up with the whacked out stuff they do. All of my fandoms suffer from this. I can't do anything but try to ignore the...stuff these folks post. I've read some purely out of curiosity before, and came to regret it. It's unrealistic and terribly written!

Then there are people who use the "Sorry OOC..." bit. Er, I don't think I should go there. Those goofs should check themselves into some fan fiction rehab.

I'm no better than your Average Joe, but at least I follow the rules. :(

I'm not the greatest writer in the world. My skills need some serious development. People aren't breaking my door down begging for advice. But I do strive to make my work as unique as possible, especially when it comes to OC's.

I try to create a character that will enhance the canon, not destroy it. Crack fics are an exception to that rule. Otherwise, if you want to pair your OC with a canon character then you should make sure their personalities are compatible. Some types just aren't meant to be together. Anyone who thinks otherwise...Yeah. (ノಠ ∩ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

My friends and I enjoy having semi-intellectual discussions about character types, the psychology behind these characters' actions, and what makes them great or not so great. I've been on a Trinity Blood kick lately, thanks to my buddy and fellow fan girl, Mel. It has some awesome characters and an equally awesome plot.
