Way too many awesome things happened and the day isn't even halfway over yet! Everyone knows how excited I am about the release of Dot Kareshi III. I think today was the release~ If so, then it's on its way over! I can't wait to finally see the Villager's route and why the heck he's so ominous/creepy! He has to be a Yandere type. HAS TO.

I'm not a mean or sarcastic kind of person, but when something bothers me I have to voice my opinion. Normally, I'd keep it to myself or protest indirectly. An author on AO3 asked for some honest opinions about their story and when I voiced mine, they flew off the handle. I feel better now that I've actually confronted him/her/it about the offensive content in their story.

I didn't do anything wrong. They asked for opinions and I gave them mine. They never said what kind of opinions they were looking for. "Don't be shy" was what they said. If you don't want people being honest, then say so! (╬ Ò ‸ Ó)

The holidays are rolling around but that doesn't mean I won't be updating. I have a lot on my plate right now. Other than the three major projects I have there are also two mini series that I'm working on. One has nearly reached completion, so I'm grateful for that. (*´ο`*)

The next story scheduled for an update is my Tales of the Abyss project, "A Flower Withered." The chapter is already written; I'm just in the slow, agonizing process of revising it. Yeesh, my writing can get messy when I get in too much of a hurry. It's like an editor's nightmare! XD

I'll also be wrapping up my STARISH letter series soon. After that, I plan on doing a similar series for Quartet Night, as suggested by one of my readers and reviewers. Thanks, Shiori! :)

FFNet is a great place to write, read, and share fan fiction with other fans from around the world. It has a large database and member base, making it the most prolific archive on the world wide web. However, the recent stream of Ads feature content that may be offensive to many.

Ads are a necessity on this site as it is supported/sponsored by some of the sites it advertises for. I have no problem with that. The Ads aren't large or flashy. They've never been a distraction for me.

Until they rolled out a new Ad campaign featuring some site called 'Edge.' Their Ads are offensive because they depict homosexual couples hugging and kissing. Homosexuality goes against many religions, traditional values, and logical morals. I'm sure that those offended by such images don't want their thirteen and fourteen year old's logging on and seeing such images.

FFNet doesn't advocate for religions or any other types of minority group. Homosexuality shouldn't be one either. Please support the cause and email the site admins at support[AT]fanfiction[DOT]com. Tell them we don't want these Ads on the site because they advocate/support something the site doesn't represent.

This is just a way of getting things off my chest because it bothers me. I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does. And when you try to point it out to someone they fly off the handle and attack you. ヽ(ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ

Sigh. Where to begin? Yaoi and Yuri have no place in a reverse harem anime/game? I don't get where people come up with the whacked out stuff they do. All of my fandoms suffer from this. I can't do anything but try to ignore the...stuff these folks post. I've read some purely out of curiosity before, and came to regret it. It's unrealistic and terribly written!

Then there are people who use the "Sorry OOC..." bit. Er, I don't think I should go there. Those goofs should check themselves into some fan fiction rehab.

I'm no better than your Average Joe, but at least I follow the rules. :(

I'm not the greatest writer in the world. My skills need some serious development. People aren't breaking my door down begging for advice. But I do strive to make my work as unique as possible, especially when it comes to OC's.

I try to create a character that will enhance the canon, not destroy it. Crack fics are an exception to that rule. Otherwise, if you want to pair your OC with a canon character then you should make sure their personalities are compatible. Some types just aren't meant to be together. Anyone who thinks otherwise...Yeah. (ノಠ ∩ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

People keep asking, so this is mainly for reference purposes. I'll ship just about anything so long as it meets certain criteria. Romances that I don't approve of and/or loathe are as follows: homosexual pairings, incest, pedophilia by more than forty years, and rivalries turned romance. That last one has some leeway.
